The Consultant Services Manager serves as the primary liaison between the consultants and the Experis branch office in order to create, enhance and maintain a positive relationship and ultimately maximize the level of consultant satisfaction. Provides a central point of contact and support for the consultant population. Primary focus is to conduct orientations, provide a regular program of communications through periodic 'pulse checks', monitors the remarketing effort, and facilitates consultant training and development programs. Responsibilities will also include handling and/or escalating all employee relations issues and facilitating unresolved administrative issues as it relates to benefits and payroll.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Revolves around 6 areas: Orientation (On boarding), Retention/Remarketing, Issue Resolutions, Communication, Performance Management and Training

  • Acts as the first line of communication between consultants and internal branch staff in resolving the various administrative and human resources issues (e.g., benefits administration, payroll, visa, etc.).

  • Conducts orientations for new consultants; processes new hire and benefit paperwork appropriately; creates and maintains branch personnel file for consultants; meets with or calls new consultants within 48 hours of start date for follow-up.

  • Initiates follow-up communication with consultants on a 30-60-90 day basis.

  • Monitors consultant performance by interfacing with the Account Manager and where possible, client management.

  • Facilitates the remarketing process by closely monitoring project end dates, ensuring resumes are current.

  • Coordinates necessary training and career development plans for consultants by using available training vehicles.

  • Assists, administers, and communicates various consultant retention programs to maintain lowest possible level of turnover.

  • Communicates important company news/changes to consultant population.

  • Works with the Account Managers and Placement Managers to resolve consultant issues, elevating to the branch leader or HR as necessary, and ensures proper communication, documentation and closure.

  • Provides interpretation of Company policy to ensure consultant adherence and understanding.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business or related field plus 4 years experience in a human resources generalist field. Excellent organizational and problem solving skills, as well as the ability to deal effectively and apply good judgement in stressful situations. In some situations, travel will be required and you will be working in an on-site dedicated capacity.
