Job Descriptions:
GENERAL JOB SUMMARY: Applies electrical engineering disciplines to support design, development, implementation, and testing of electrical systems, subsystems or components supporting physical or synthetic solutions. Reviews, evaluates and analyzes designs. Prepares reviews and evaluates documentation, specifications, test plans and procedures. Supports test programs and analyzes testing. Solves routine problems in the engineering discipline.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
PRIMARY –
Troubleshoots engineering aspects of production issues
Tests and Troubleshoots new engineering prototypes
Implements ECO into released drawings
SECONDARY –
Supports CTO in creating new designs
Supports production with failure analysis and repair
Required Experience:
JOB SKILLS:
Required –
Ability to read schematics (ORCAD a plus) and locate cable/wiring faults or circuit failures at the component/board level.
Knowledge of electronic circuit fabrication
Ability to design basic mixed signal circuits: amplifiers, signal conditioning and filtering, switching.
Electronic testing of RF and mixed signal circuits and familiarity with test equipment: signal generators, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers. Familiarity with Windows operating systems: Win XP Win 7
Preferred –
Xilinx ISE experience
RF and baseband communication experience
C/C++ coding experience
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Electrical Engineering Degree
