Wells Fargo Practice Finance is the leading specialty lender for healthcare practices nationwide. Our exclusive focus on dental, medical, veterinary and optometric financing has given us a deep understanding of the business of building a successful practice. We are a team based sales environment with outside sales and inside sales working together with this role to meet the team’s monthly sales objectives. This is a very fast paced environment with six completely different loan product types and requirements.

The Wells Fargo Practice Finance Group is looking for an experienced Loan Servicing Specialist 5. The Loan Servicing Specialist is responsible for managing regional financial loan transactions from commitment through the closing of the transaction. Loan Servicing Specialists prepare transactions by collecting all necessary credit conditions, vendor invoices, insurance requirements and loan documentation for submission to the Funding Control Officer for final review and approval to fund the loan. Must have sound credit judgment in clearing conditions for the transaction, and thorough knowledge of documentation requirements and ability to assure all loan documentation is received. Meet required turnaround times and assure client is aware of timetable. Independently manage & prepare multiple complex transactions simultaneously. Understand the risk of each transaction and utilize assistance from Funding Control Officer and Credit Manager when warranted. Submit complete, compliant, and accurate transactions that are ready for funding. Minimize withdrawn approvals. Manage to the credit exception guidelines. Develop new leads from client base when possible. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: customer service, loan administration, collections, or sales environment

Desired Qualifications:

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills

  • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Commercial credit experience

  • Knowledge and understanding of Hogan

  • Exposure to Wells Fargo BLAST (Business Lending and Sales Tracking) system

  • Ability to provide strong customer service while processing complex transactions and performing extensive research to resolve complex customer issues

  • Knowledge and understanding of business banking: reporting tools and compliance

  • Ability to review and interpret complex commercial loan documents

  • Strong telephone etiquette skills
