PGY-2, Liver Transplant Pharmacist Resident
Summary of Essential Job Duties:
The Liver Transplant Pharmacist Resident lends support to the attending staff, fellows, clinical coordinators and pharmacist, as well as to the other clinical support staff in the Comprehensive Transplant Center’s Liver Transplant Program through consultation, role modeling, and education. Transplant Pharmacist is responsible for providing pharmaceutical care for a selected group of patients. The Transplant Pharmacist Resident is active in resolving problems associated with the administration of quality patient care as necessary. Additionally, he/she serves as a liaison pharmacist between the Liver Transplant Program and other departments, especially pharmacy department throughout the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Education Certifications/Licensure Experience Physical Abilities Educational Requirements:
Professional degree from an approved school college or university.
Residency or Fellowship training in organ transplantation of at least 3 years of clinical experience in organ transplantation providing direct pharmaceutical care.
Current or Pending Pharm.D License in the State of California.
Full command (verbal and written) of the English language
Minimum of 1 year of residency, or equivalent experience
Physical Demands: (e.g., lifting, standing, walking)
Must be able to perform assigned duties in a demanding work environment. Perceptive acuity and physical ability to perform all functions including walking, sitting, standing, bending, and light lifting required.
