Project Manager (Construction Management Experience)

Description
Project Manager -
Responsibilities:
- Participate in all aspects of project set-up, design and construction administration
- Prepare project proposals
- Responsible for administering the project from pre-construction budgeting/schedule stage thru procurement, shop drawing/coordination development, construction, space turnover and contract closeout
- Participate in developing project bidding strategy with the project team and purchasing department
- Coordinate and integrate the activities of the Project Architect, Engineers and other support staff with the project scope
- Support all project objectives and project requirements for the team
- Manage aspects of scheduling, and project set-up with sub-consultants, vendors and contractors
- Proactively contribute to a growing team, comprised of project architects, interior designers, job captains and graphic designers
- Develop and maintain client relationships, for both single projects and multi-project global accounts
Ensure projects conform to contract
Qualifications:
8-15 years of related experience, including a minimum of 5 years demonstrating success as a Project Manager
- Professional degree (Master or Bachelor) with experience in Architecture or Interior Design and Construction Management
- Must have the ability to maintain existing client relationships and build new client relationships
- Strong leadership potential
- Strong organization, communication and relationship management skills
- Experience leading, managing and mentoring project teams
- Knowledge of building codes, standards and building structures
- Ability to manage project scope and fees
- Proven fiscal accountability and responsibility on past projects
- Proficiency with PM software: MS project a plus
