          Job Summary:

          The Dietary Manager, as a Registered Dietitian, is responsible for providing food service and medical nutrition therapy through nutritional assessment and management to in-patient customers, educational program development, and effective continuation of patient and customer satisfaction efforts. Other duties include providing outpatient counseling for hospital clinics and effectively interacting with the hospital, medical, and administrative staff of the facility. Likewise, the Dietary Manager’s responsibilities include regulatory standards of compliance, foodservice systems management, overseeing the operation of the kitchen and dining area, patient and staff menu planning, and supervision and education of food service staff.

          Qualifications:


          1. Bachelor degree or equivalent preferred.

          2. Must be credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration. 3. Must be registered with the American Dietetic Association.

          3. Two years dietary experience in a hospital setting desired.

          4. Bi-lingual skills preferred.

          5. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills.

          6. Previous supervisory experience preferred.
