The Global Performance Solutions team is responsible for driving the growth of performance-based advertising on Facebook. It partners closely with our global sales teams to advise some of Facebook’s largest performance advertisers on how to best use our platform to conduct direct response marketing at scale.
We’re looking for passionate performance marketing strategists with strong communication skills, deep business acumen and the desire to transform how some of the industries largest performance marketers conduct their digital marketing. Ideal candidates have experience within the performance marketing department of an advertiser, media agency, publisher or a specialist direct response firm. Having experience managing large performance based campaigns, expertise in performance based digital advertising products, an understanding of the industry landscape for direct response marketing, and an obsession with leveraging data and analytics to improve performance for highly complex digital campaigns is required.
This role will give you the ability to advise some of the industry’s largest performance marketers on how to use the power of social marketing for performance-based objectives. It will also stretch you to deeply understand social marketing, find scalable solutions and act as an evangelist for direct response advertising both within and outside of Facebook. The role requires constant interaction with senior and operational members of our clients as well as internal cross-functional teams from Sales, Marketing, Product and Partner Management, giving you high visibility across the organization.
Strong analytical and Excel skills are essential, as well as curiosity, persistence, and the ability to solve problems in a structured manner. Excellent communication and client-interaction skills are critical.
Provide in-depth advisory to some of Facebook’s most strategic performance advertisers;Partner with Account Managers and Client Partners to create client-level performance marketing solutions;Generate insights and proof points that can be leveraged by our Product, Marketing and Training teams to build better performance advertising products and scalable solutions;Partner closely with the agency and preferred marketing developer teams to communicate effective performance advertising techniques to agencies and 3rd party developers at scale
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience with performance advertising across display, ad networks and/or search, with outstanding expertise in optimizing complex performance campaigns;Ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and effective manner to a broad range of audiences, including C-level decision makers;Strong analytical abilities with fluent Excel skills. SQL or equivalent skills strongly preferred;BA/BS degree or equivalent;Ability to prioritize among conflicting demands in a dynamic environment
