          Currently, we are seeking a talented Sr. Accounting Analyst to join the Corporate Finace team. The Corporate Division is responsible for supporting the goals and initiatives of all other divisions throughout the company and its subsidiaries.

          POSITION OVERVIEW:
          The Sr. Accounting Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

          •Reconcile and analyze data and record journal entries to properly reflect GAAP and Statutory accounting information
          •Research and resolve issues, exceptions, and outstanding items
          •Provide appropriate documentation and audit trail to support conclusions and obtain approvals
          •Utilize system applications to research and generate reports.

          Additional responsibilities include:

          •Reserve reconciliation
          •Separate Account Product Accounting
          •General expense accruals
          •Tax provision
          •Financial statement review
          •Surveys
          •Disclosures
          •Management Reports
          •STAT to GAAP Reconciliation
          •PLIC Retrocession and Reinsurance Submission
          •Sub Equity Reconciliation
          •Reinsurance submissions
          •Write or maintain desk procedures
          •Redesign/streamline inefficient processes or reports
          •Provide training and/or serve as a resource for others

          FACTORS FOR SUCCESS:
          •BS/BA Accounting/Finance or equivalent work experience
          .CPA required
          •3-5 years of related experience (public accounting or insurance industry)
          •Demonstrated analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
          •Ability to work independently on assignments of various levels of complexity
          •Proven organizational skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines
          •Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills and ability to collaborate with others to effectively solve problems
          •Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office products and PeopleSoft
