Job Description

Directs, manages, and coordinates the patient care, personnel, administrative, business, technical and nursing operations of one or more outpatient medical clinics in collaboration with the Medical Director and top management overseeing ambulatory care, including, but not limited to, day-to-day operations, clinic-specific policies and procedures, marketing, customer/patient satisfaction, facilities, maintenance, procurement of supplies and contact services, finance/budget, human resources, and planning and development; plans, develops, implements and evaluates ambulatory health care services, programs and activities; and acts as the clinic leader to ensure the goals and objectives. The Clinic Manager has the responsibility to collaborate with clinic physicians and other health care providers to maintain and improve clinic services. The Clinic Manager is not required to be an RN or other licensed health care provider; however, in those clinics where the Clinic Manager is not an RN, an Assistant Clinic Manager-Clinical (or other representative of nursing management) will manage and evaluate nursing staff with respect to their professional practice within the scope of their licensure.

Qualifications

Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.

Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field in a work-related discipline/field from an accredited college or university

Valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license preferred

5 years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience
