Scripps Health COORDINATOR, POLICY & PROCEDURE - Corporate Compliance - Full Time in San Diego, California

The Coordinator, Policy & Procedure coordinates and facilitates the development, review, approval and distribution of system wide policies, procedures, and standards of practice. Works with policy and procedure authors to ensure accuracy and comprehensiveness of policy/procedure documents. Assists in technical review and prepares final format for publication. Serves as primary resource to business units for policy publication and management in Scripps policy online library.

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills: 3 years healthcare experience and background in technical writing preferred. Experience in development of policies, procedures, and interdisciplinary patient care standards of practice. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Highly developed interpersonal skills. Ability to work with diverse staff. Well-developed organizational skills. Skilled in use of computer software applications (Microsoft Office Suite and Share Point) required.

Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification: Bachelor's degree. Master's degree in a clinical discipline. CA license in a clinical discipline (RN, PT, OT, etc.)
