The Nokia Lumia Quality organization is expanding its SW Test team and is looking to add a Software Tester. This Product SW Test team is responsible for the weekly release, functional, pre-certification, performance, and operator specific testing. This role will report to the Head of SW Quality Operations in San Diego.
Key activities/responsibilities:
* Execution of test sets according to program schedules and priorities
* Collaborate with others locally, globally, and with partners toward the development and improvement of the test assets
* Track test results and defects in relevant tools/databases
* Suggest improvements to way of working within the team/organization
* Pro-actively take on new challenges by learning new tools and environments
*
B.Sc. degree in in Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent qualification.
* Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant work experience
* Knowledge of software testing requirements and methods - testing process, principles, technical knowledge, SW development process
* Good follow-up and communication skills
* Experience with test case creation, automation, debugging and Windows Phone a plus
