The RealReal Operations Associate in San Francisco, California

Job Summary

Seasonal full-time and part-time store operations associate to join the effort in our first ever pop up store in San Francisco! The Operations Associate will be an integral part of the team for the pop up store and ensuring products is transported, safely handling and caring for all luxury items and arriving to the store in a timely manner. There will be career advancement opportunities upon completion of the assignment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Safely handle and care for all luxury items in-store and warehouse, from men and women’s clothing, jewelry, watches, home and art pieces

  • Pack shipments securely, following all rules and specifications

  • Process all inbound merchandise per provided guidelines

  • Maintain store supplies and manage inventory

  • Assist and direct to fulfill all orders

  • Perform all pick, pack and ship functions while maintaining KPMs

  • Responsible for processing all parcel shipments with the designated carrier; FedEx, DHL, UPS, USPS

  • Conduct quality inspections on packaging and documentation

  • Other responsibilities as designated by the team leader or the Warehouse Supervisor

  • Ability to handle multiple complex, time sensitive situations while remaining calm, cool and collected

  • Effective communicator (both verbal and written)

  • Demonstrates the skill and willingness to take initiative and to pro-actively anticipate organizational needs including the ability to meet external and internal deadlines as required

Requirements

Physical Demands/Environmental Conditions

  • Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 50 lbs.

  • Work two weekends per month

Travel Requirement

  • Commute between the store in San Francisco and the warehouse in Brisbane as needed
