Position Description
The Business Development Group at Cadence is hiring a Business Development Manager to join its small but powerful team! If you think you might be a deal junkie, this job could be perfect for you.
Your primary responsibility will be supporting our acquisitions, equity investments and strategic transactions. As a result, you will participate in all aspects of the deal lifecycle, from maintaining and developing the deal pipeline, researching target companies, deal structuring, valuation and financial analysis, due diligence and integration planning.
You will work in an extended team environment with our business unit partners and other functional teams to determine priorities, collect and analyze data, prepare business cases to support proposed transactions including detailed valuations and financial analyses, and coordinate and align business needs.
You should possess excellent financial analysis, communication and presentation skills, the flexibility to work in a fast paced and highly dynamic work environment, and the ability to juggle multiple projects concurrently.
Position Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance or business, and preferably an MBA
Minimum of 6 years of experience in either financial analysis or market analysis functions
Solid understanding of technology industries
Strong financial analysis and valuation skills
Proven ability to work in a team environment
Proven project management skills
Acute awareness of the importance of maintaining confidential information including sensitive employee information, business deals, insider information
Ability to filter, screen, synthesize and summarize information
Exceptional attention to detail
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguity and cope with change in a moment’s notice.
Ability to plan, anticipate and set goals around projects and objectives of job.
Resourceful
Ability to learn quickly and take on new challenges as they arise.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and pressure in a composed manner
Excellent customer-service orientation, high degree of professionalism, and ability to work with little or no direction

Highly proficient in MS Project, PowerPoint and Excel
