Overall Job Purpose:

A part Time role (20 to 30 hours per week), the Payment Posting Specialist will report to the onsite team leader/manager. The main objective of the position is to apply all payments received timely and accurately. This role is also expected to identify and resolve payment discrepancies and answer client inquiries as needed.

Essential Qualifications, Training and Experience:

  • Fluent English is essential

  • Minimum 1 years’ working experience

  • Degree qualified or equivalent experience

  • Microsoft Office - Excel required to at least an intermediate level

Areas of focus - cash collections, debt management, cash and credit card funds allocation

  • Processing AR mail, paper remits and payments, posting check payments to banks by EOB’s.

  • Payment Posting Specialist must familiarize themselves with assigned client network contacts and departments corresponding with them both verbally and in writing to ensure proper application.

  • Process both trade and non-trade payments according to process.

  • Must be able to track balance of posted and pending payments based on client protocol.

  • Adhere to metrics for daily production

  • Duties as assigned

  • Liaise with the assigned team manager to ensure satisfactory and prompt adherence to all daily deadlines

  • Report to the team manager all operational issues and escalations, together with updates on work-in-progress

  • Provide a top class level of support for the team/department to which you are assigned

  • Process personal data, client data and employer business specific data in accordance with customer contracts, company guidelines and federal and state requirements.
