Job Description Summary

This position is responsible for providing technical leadership for Cards/Payment Solutions approved projects. This role is instrumental in managing and executing vendor technology solutions and other internally-developed software components.

Essential Job Functions

  1. Develops and prepares budgets, project plans including scheduling, costs, resources, and other operational concerns.

  2. Analyzes business systems specifications.

  3. Defines and documents product requirements, project deliverables, and product acceptance criteria.

  4. Interfaces with clients in identifying needs.

  5. Develops feasibility studies and business proposals for hardware/software solutions.

  6. Plans business and related technical training for new technologies and processes.

  7. Advises and directs staff on resolving production and testing problems.

  8. Manages and administers projects and service requests.

  9. Advises management on these matters.

10.Ensures adherence to Bank and information systems policies and procedures, security measures, and audit standards.

11.Supervises installation of vendor solutions and maintenance.

12.Instructs personnel and verifies the quality of performance.

13.Anticipates operational/techincal needs and develops plans to ensure system/user's needs are met.

Qualifications

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree - Required

• Minimum of 10 years of proven IT leadership and software delivery and business experience in the financial services industry.

• Domain knowledge in Retail/Core Banking and Cards

• Ability to lead and manage Retail banking engineering team

• Demonstrated ability to engage with 3rd party vendors and select and integrate major vendor software.

• Experience with adopting and executing technical standards, process and governance across a broad project portfolio.

• Extensive experience with formal SDLC methodologies such as Agile, Iterative and RUP
