Job Description: Visual designer is responsible for the final visual design of reference applications on multiple platforms, ranging from PC to tablets and smartphones, and supporting the engineering teams in their development work.
Everyday work will consist of design, documentation and delivery of icons, layout guides, widgets and motion graphics, ensuring pixel perfect UI development. In addition to the reference product development, s/he may help the team in creating other creative collateral, such as storyboard illustrations or marketing material. S/he will work closely with architects, engineers, UX usage leads, UX requirement engineers, user researchers, etc. to enable delivering coherent and meaningful end-to-end experiences.
Candidate should possess understanding of visual design principles, colour use and typography. S/he will be highly proficient with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. Successful candidate is flexible, able to work on multiple projects, and tolerate uncertainty. Positive can-do attitude is a big plus.
Qualifications:
Minimum Required Qualifications:
BS in relevant discipline
-3 years of work experience in visual design for applications on PC, tablet and/or smart phones.
-3 years of experience with Adobe Creative Suite tools (e.g. Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
-3 years of Design Portfolio experience.
-3 years of experience with Flash or other similar tool
Desired Qualifications:
-Master degree in a related field
-3 years of experience with Win8 UI and Android UI
