Primary Job Function:
Responsible for reporting and analysis for Field Sales and US Commercial Marketing. The type of reporting involves a lot of data and combining from different sources - we are looking for someone who knows how to bring it all together!
Core Job Responsibilities:
Gathers and publishes information related to historical, current and future performance.
Partners with field sales and US Commercial Marketing to understand their needs and help them make the best possible strategic decisions.
Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
Gather requirements and design sales reports/custom sales analysis tools to meet sales management business objectives
Compile and analyze data on historical sales and trends to forecast future trends · Create daily, weekly and monthly performance reports and calculate key performance indicators
Design and implement sales analytics/reporting related to field sales compensation plan components
Partner with Sales Training and Sales Management to develop comprehensive SalesCast training for the field. Lead in-person and online conference call SalesCast trainings for field sales.
Participate in Area and/or Regional sales meetings to understand issues facing the sales force and identify unmet sales analytics/reporting needs
Capture yearly performance metrics to assist with yearly succession planning and national awards
Analyze SalesCast usage data to develop a wholistic suite of online sales reports. Partner with IT to facilitate the implementation of these reports.
Create sales reports to address areas of focus for Quarterly Area Business Reviews
Track/manage any Sales/Marketing promotional contests
Participate in monthly datawarehouse forums to understand complexities in the data and prioritize joint Sales Analytics/IT projects.
Troubleshoot/validate any data issues with IT
Use business intelligence tools to query sales information from the data mart
Conduct customer segmentation, product mix and event impact analysis for product marketing
Provide analytical support for commercial and pre-launch products: create dashboards to measure launch strategy success and provide sales analysis to highlight areas of opportunity
Collaborate with Commercial Marketing on any ad hoc business problem-solving requests
Position Accountability / Scope
Level of analysis requires more than basic understanding of data and utilization of advanced mathematical formulas in reports.
Four-year degree or equivalent experience in Business, Accounting or Finance. Equivalent experience is defined as six years combined experience in the above areas. Advanced degree preferred
