Verve Coffee Roasters seeks a visual merchandising wizard/consultant for a 3-6 month project focused on optimizing our retail merchandising program. The winning candidate is an industry leader with extensive experience building and executing plans to expand sales through engaging visual merchandising, captivating strategic campaigns, and superior product placement, inventory and pricing. Requirements

Essential Duties:

  • Plan, develop and roll out merchandising strategies that effectively balance customer expectations and company objectives.

  • Analyze sales figures, customer feedback and market trends to anticipate product needs and plan inventory.

  • Assess visual merchandising and store layouts; develop quarterly reset plan.

  • Work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders including Cafe teams to train, lead, and maintain all visual standards.

  • Forecast sales and plan budgets.

  • Monitor stock movement and adjust pricing accordingly.

  • Remain current with industry trends and best practices.

  • Be Verve Coffee Roasters’ brand ambassador.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive retail merchandising and marketing experience.

  • Results oriented with a proven track record of driving revenue.

  • Creative thinker with keen eye for detail.

  • Pervasive desire to win customers.

  • Strong personal initiative, self-discipline, and team player mentality.

  • Excellent communication and time management skills.

  • Willingness to travel throughout California.
