Providence St. Joseph Health is calling an Associate Recruiter, Talent Acquisition to support Nurse Next Door based in Anaheim, California.We are seeking an Associate Recruiter, Talent Acquisition to be candidate focused and serves as the primary point of contact for managers for the recruitment and selection of Nurse Next Door caregivers. Responsible for consulting and implementing the sourcing and recruitment services that favorably impact our business objectives. This individual will deliver high quality service to both internal and external customers. This position works independently and utilizes their own judgment to screen and present candidates.The incumbent performs all duties in an ethical and professional manner that promotes Providence St. Joseph Health and it's affiliating organizations' mission, values, and philosophy.In this position you will have the following responsibilities:• Partners with Recruiters, Senior Recruiters and/or Hiring Managers and HR Strategic Partners (HRSP) to build comprehensive recruitment plans, clarify required job skills and competencies, and use the best sourcing strategies and techniques for each job category. Responsible for the end to end recruiting process for less complex roles/easy to fill roles and partners with Recruiters and/or Senior Recruiters to fill more complex positions. Proactively manages candidates and prioritizes requisitions based on metrics and understanding of recruiting goals. Successfully negotiates with Recruiters, Senior Recruiters and/or Hiring Managers to maintain responsiveness and timeliness, and to ensure adherence to the selection process.• Collaborates with TA Coordinators to ensure requisitions are complete, opened, activities/candidates tracked and closed in the applicant tracking system. Reviews resumes against job requirements, conducts candidate phone screens/assessments against qualifications and selects the best qualified candidates to present to Recruiters, Senior Recruiters and/or Hiring Managers. Sources candidates using networking, social media, events, competitive intelligence/research, sourcing tools and TA Programs such as employee referrals, diversity, military and professional outreach.•Possesses knowledge of the candidate market across the spectrum of assigned positions and throughout the region in order to best advise Recruiters, Senior Recruiters and/or Hiring Managers and HRSP’s in hiring decisions. Manages the offer process and acts as a liaison between the candidate and the Recruiters, Senior Recruiters and/or Hiring Manager during negotiations. Considers the company’s and the candidate’s needs throughout the process. Develop and maintain thorough understanding of positions recruiting for, including required candidate qualifications, competencies, compensation and motivations.•Periodically visit customers’ locations, tour facilities, and achieve a working vocabulary of departmental characteristics. Ensure positions are visible to the appropriate candidate audience by working closely with TA support team. Ensure positions are posted accurately on internal web site and on external sources. Actively supports and incorporates the mission and core values into all Talent Acquisition processes and daily activities.• Promotes sensitivity with cultural and religious beliefs and directly supports and promotes hiring a diverse workforce. Comply with all laws, regulations and requirements of appropriate licensing and accrediting bodies. Assures compliance with confidentiality policies. In accordance with State and Federal laws, maintains confidentiality of employee, patient, and business related information.Required qualifications for this position include:•2 years HR experience - 1 year in the recruiting environment in a customer facing role.•Ability to consistently exhibit superior customer service, including when under significant pressure to achieve expected timelines for the hiring of new staff. Ability to work proficiently in a self-managed team environment and possess independent problem solving skills.•Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills. Knowledge of and ability to maintain recruiting processes.•Excellent oral communication skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport on the phone. High level of proficiency with written communications.•Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations. Proficient in MS Office suite products.Preferred qualifications for this position include:•Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education/experience•Applicant Tracking Systems experience is preferred.•Participation in an HR professional organization (e.g. PHR/SPHR, AIRS Certified Recruiter, NW Recruiter Association, ERE, NAHCR Certified Recruiter).
