Job Description

Responsible for handling the following as their primary role: Attendance and compliance, distribution of equipment and supplies, coordinating payroll, maintaining lost time, process uniform orders, managing base transfers and managing new hire onboarding.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performs a wide variety of office duties including: coordinating meeting arrangements, typing, filing, greeting and directing customers, handling mail, ordering and distributing office supplies, reconciling P-card spending, tracking anniversaries/birthdays, and arranging travel and hotel accommodations

  • Troubleshoots and escalates office technology issues, including telephone and copier machines

  • Tracks and ensures assignment of mailboxes and uniforms

  • Plans, coordinates and executes department events

  • Handles payroll processing in Workbrain for management and support staff

  • Processes bereavement letters and coordinate local communications and response

  • Maintains employee files, as necessary

  • Updates required manuals

  • Files and maintains all security related items

  • Assists with budget preparation and reconciliation

  • Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma and/or GED equivalency

  • Previous office/clerical experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to perform in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Ability to work independently or with little supervision

  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization and business community

  • Ability to read, write and fluently speak and understand the English language

  • Ability to be self-motivated with strong organizational skills

  • Ability to prioritize work, be detail oriented and meet deadlines

  • Working knowledge of MS products including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint is required

  • Must fulfill FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA)

  • Must be able to secure appropriate airport authority escort badge and/or US Customs security badges if applicable

  • Must be willing to travel on company business if and when necessary
