Job Description:

3M is seeking a Sales Representative for its Automotive Aftermarkets Division (AAD) located in British Columbia. The successful candidate will make an impact by growing an existing sales territory by selling to collision repair shops through established distribution, while identifying and developing new opportunities for the area.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Build and establish relationships with collision repair shops in the BC market, to improve and develop repair processes

  • Work with distribution to ensure 3M product is listed and adequate inventory is stocked

  • Develop and execute sales plans aligned with divisional targets

Basic Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education

  • Exceptional selling and negotiating skills

  • General business acumen and mechanical aptitude (working with tools)

  • Basic MS Office skills

  • Organized, self-motivated, and able to perform with limited supervision

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as there is a significant educational component to the role

Preferred Qualifications:

  • University degree

  • Demonstrated knowledge of collision estimating software an asset

  • Experience selling in the BC market an asset

  • Industrial sales experience an asset

Travel: In this role, you will be required to travel approximately 25% of the time, which may involve overnight stays. A valid driver’s license is required.
