Northrop Grumman AerospaceSystems sector is seeking a Radiation Effects Analyst 2 to join our team ofcreative and diverse engineers. The position will be located in Redondo Beach,CA. The Radiation Effects Analyst 2 researches, designs, develops, and tests avariety of electronic equipment and systems that are used in space and defenseapplications. This Engineer must possess experience with the following: circuitdesign/simulation, part evaluations, parameter degradation, single eventeffects, single event upset, single event transients, meteoroid/orbital debris,electron/proton/x-ray transport, atomic oxygen calculations, dose-depth curves,displacement damage-depth curves, dose mapping, radiation testing, radiationexposure, parametric measurements, software development, and design reviewpresentation/preparation.

Simulation of electronic components relative to space radiation effects
A Bachelor of Sciencedegree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) discipline from anaccredited university and 2 years of engineering experience in an aerospaceenvironment
Technical experience performingradiation effects analysis, shielding analysis, and survivability analysis
Proficient in conducting radiationtesting, circuit design/simulation, dose-depth curves, and parameterdegradation
Ability to obtain andmaintain a DoD Secret or Top Secret, and SCI clearance
A Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics from an accredited university
Experience with circuit design/simulation, SPICEanalyses, electronic component characterization & parameters
Experience with single event effects,single event upset, and single event transients
Experience with meteoroid/orbitaldebris, electron/proton/x-ray transport, and atomic oxygen calculations
Demonstrated capability to providedesign support and participate in design reviews
