Constellation Brands, Inc. Associate Promotions Manager in San Francisco, California
As an Associate Promotions Manager, you will work with a cross-functional team of experts on the Wine and Spirits industry’s most iconic brands, bringing their message and their essence to life at retail.
Report to National Promotions Manager; aligned to multiple Trade Marketing Mangers supporting activity across several different localities
Project management of regional promotional programs and elements from initial development through execution in accordance with regional expectations, brand standards, and state legal compliance; assess all projects upfront to gain clarity and/or additional direction
Maintain detailed project lists for assigned regions and ensure that Trade Marketing Managers are updated on the status of all projects and components, keeping National Promotions Manager informed regularly
Collaborate with Trade Marketing Managers, Production Management, and Brand and National Promotions Managers on regional promotional ideas by participating in brainstorm sessions, gaining approvals, and providing promotion insights
Manage regional rebate/coupon offer setup to ensure all projects are in compliance with CBI and state legal standards; collaborate with Promotions Ops on creating coupons
Work with Legal, Promotions Ops, and outside vendors for production of local POS elements to ensure best pricing and timely production of materials
Project manage artwork development with outside creative agencies, ensuring best practices and efficiencies are being adopted amongst external suppliers of POS materials, premiums and wearables
Process and track orders for each promotional element/program
Assist in the creation of POs through SAP Ariba system
Manage promotional budgets provided by Trade Marketing Managers/Directors and track spend as requested
Inform brand teams and National Promotions Managers on the trade marketing tools needed to gain sell in at store level; review seasonal/monthly window toolkits to ensure such tools are offered
Assist National Promotions Manager in the coordination of national brand programs on select core wines and innovation brands
Bachelor’s degree required with 2 or more years of work experience in the following: marketing, promotions, creative agency or sales
Project management experience with meticulous attention to detail
Ability to multi-task, demonstrate a sense of urgency and ability get things done in a fast-paced environment
Robust oral and written communication skills
Ability to build relationships with internal and external constituencies and perform duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with the company’s values
Ability to grow within the organization and receive fundamental training on the wine industry
MS Office experience, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Alcholol/beverage or fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) experience strongly preferred
Partnering with legal for compliance and approvals
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
Must be at least 21 years of age
Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time and work on a computer for extended periods
