Position Description:Join Urban’s successful Rail & Transit Division and engage in exciting passenger railroad and multidisciplinary infrastructure projects in the San Francisco Bay area. We are looking for Quality Assurance experts in multi-disciplinary fields including Quality Assurance (QA) Oversight; as well as advanced train control, traction power and vehicle maintenance facility QA oversight. The candidates will be responsible for developing quality procedures, conducting quality assurance audits for large capital projects, systems, and facilities along with ensuring that projects are being built safely, on budget, on schedule, within scope, and in conformance with applicable regulations and specifications. The successful candidates will be key members of Urban’s team for expansion in the northern California market. The candidates will be self-motivating, energetic, and have the ability to multi-task. Responsibilities will include interaction with varying clients and management levels.
Job Requirements:The ideal candidates must have a Bachelor of Science in a related engineering discipline and should have a minimum of five years’ rail transportation industry experience specializing in either Quality Assurance Engineering, QA Auditing, Inspection, process analysis, design and/or reliability engineering. The candidates should possess excellent written and oral communication skills. American Society for Quality (ASQ) certifications are desirable but not required. #LI-ST1
