We work in cross-functional teams with sprints, daily standups, retrospectives and demos. Transparency, communication, and accountability are core values. As with most roles on our marketing team, you may be asked at times to step slightly outside of your core competency to assist with campaign and project execution.

  • Bachelors required; Can be in CS, but portfolio and experience trump all

  • Years of experience: 3-5

  • 3 year experience in web development

  • Experience with JavaScript and jQuery

  • Expert in HTML, CSS (Sass or LESS)

  • HTLM, CSS (SAAS), JQuery/JavaScript, Github

  • Proficient in modern front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap

  • Working knowledge of responsive layouts

  • Knowledge of designing for older browsers

  • Familiarity with version control tools (we use Git)

  • Proven ability to code cross-client compatible emails - Inky a plus

  • Ability to perform QA on a myriad of devices with differing screen sizes and resolutions

  • Ability to communicate well with both internal team members and external stakeholders

  • Comfortable designing in Sketch and Photoshop

  • Disqualifiers: Bad attitude; Hard to work with; Inflexibility

  • Performance indicators: A rating in Google webmaster tools, good collaboration with design team, contributing to improvement of on-page conversions

  • Willingness to take feedback and learn quickly

Preferred, but not required skills:

  • WordPress experience is a great plus as our blog is on WordPress
